Marija Djokovic, Serbia
Marija Djokovic was born in Kragujevac on December 8, 1985. She has completed Film and TV Camera primary and master studies at Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade. She worked in camera department on feature films such as “Offenders” directed by Dejan Zečević, “Ajvar“ directed by Ana Maria Rossi, as well as TV series “Čizmaši“ directed by Dejan Zečević. She had two solo exhibitions- “Karaševci“ held at gallery of National Museum of Kragujevac and “Female miners“ held at gallery “Štab“in Belgrade. Her documentary photo series “Female miners“ brought BEST EDIT Award for best local production to a Serbian issue of the National Geographic Magazine. She is currently working on documentary film about female miners in Serbia.
