Fjolla Besimi, Kosovo
Fjolla was born on May 9, 1995 in Prizren, Kosovo. As a little girl, she was always given to art, such as painting, poetry and photography. After successfully completing the high school of natural sciences at “Gjon Buzuku” Prizren, she continued her studies at the University of Prishtina, at the Faculty of Economics marketing branch, where she is now attending master studies as one of the best students.
Although throughout her life she attended studies that did not coincide with her passion about Photography, she never stopped taking pictures.
The 23-year-old photographer has been part of many national and international exhibitions, and she was also awarded prizes in photography competitions. She was the winner of the third place at “Colors of Albania” organized and curated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Albania, also the winner of the second place at the “Green Art Festival” KDI, Eko Kosova’s Anti-Corruption Photography Competition. Among the greatest privileges was the participation in the exhibition of the international photography contest “Fokus”, where she was the youngest participant. Her passion about photography is growing every day and she hopes that her photos convey emotions to people who see them.
